Do you see where it went?

This is me before I had any kids. Me and my friend Heidi (I am on the left)

This is me a couple months before our wedding..Trying SO hard to loose weight, to no avail..well I shouldn't say that I lost a couple pounds, but I was trying SO hard.

And here is me now, a year after our wedding. Not doing *hardly* a dang thing to try and loose weight. and TEN pounds lighter than at the time of our wedding..

I am still trying to decide where I lost the weight...I don't see it, do you?

YAY!!

My final little post, to put me up to 30 posts for September!!

First off, can I say WHERE THE HECK DID SEPTEMBER GO??? I mean, I feel like I just finished invoicing (at my job) , and here I am doing it again!! Like WHAT??? I can't believe it. Halloween is going to be here soon, and I have not done ANY decorations. But thank goodness I have the kids costumes!! (Oh Old Navy, how I love your costumes ....especially when they are on sale!)

This weekend is a football game!! YAY!! I am heading up to it with a couple of friends and we are getting a hotel room. The babysitter issue isn't completely resolved yet, but almost....I hope. I absolutely love having season tickets to the Riders, and being one of the many die hard Rider Fans....but with the kids not quite being old enough to enjoy the game, finding a sitter is sometimes a challenge. So we will see if we will end up purchasing them next year!! BUT I did finally get my new Rider Jersey (my bday present a few months late), which I think I've talked about before...but here is me in it:

My Car

I posted about this on facebook, but for those that don't frequent facebook I thought I would post it here too!

My new 2009 VW Jetta. All loaded up!! sunroof, leather, ya it's sweet. and the kids love it!! so far so good. no drinking or eating allowed!! haha. I took a couple of inside pics just b.c I had nothing better to do.

We were the first ones to drive an 09 Jetta off the Regina lot, I felt pretty special! I love everything about this car, especially the gas (ok FUEL) mileage...It's a diesel, so technically it's not GAS!!!

Our weekend

I sucked and took no pics while Jeff & Sarah were here.. I know, what's up with that.

But anyways this is how our Sunday started: my boy cuddling on the couch. He was sick. And little did I know, this was the start to us ALL becoming sick. Jared has it good, he seems to get sick when the kids aren't (much easier to deal with). I ,on the other hand, seem to get sick at the same time as the kids and thus it's a very grouchy, germ infested house. Looking back, it seems as though our colds began with Jared...so he is to blame...grrr.

And baby Kade...what a cutie-patootie!! I'm not sure who was more exited to have him for the day, me or the kids!

Slacking

I have definetly been slacking on my blogging, and thus have some updates to do in order to meet my "30 notes in September" which I have never previously posted about, but is secretly my goal (that being to have a post for every day of the month).

We had a blast this weekend with Sarah & Jeff coming to visit Saturday night. We enjoyed some numscious appetizers. And the guys grilled us up some steaks (beef and moose), I'll take beef thanks! The kids were so overjoyed to have company, and did not hesitate to show off their toys and anything they could get their hands on!!

We just got a new Brother printer/fax/copier. (as my old printer/copier bit the dust). It definetly isn't HIGH quality, but much better than my old Dell one that we bought with the computer. I am busy trying to figure everything out on it, and playing with the new editing software it came with. It definetly isn't photoshop elements (which I would LOVE to have) but it will do the trick for now! It is super easy, as I can just slip my card directly into it, and select the pics I want to pic. And well the pics may not print as good as quality as I would like. They will do for mini photo albums and scrapbooks (that I intend to START doing...someday bahaha).

We also got to enjoy babysitting my friend Shylee's boy Kade. He is so adorable and was just perfect while he was here. Dominic was pretty adament that it's time we have another one. I wouldn't argue completely ( I know complete opposite of what I have said )...but it's still not going to happen in the near future. ANYWAYS the kids absolutely loved having him here and taking care of him. It was quite cute.

Our life as of today!

What a crazy week this has been. I can't believe that it is already friday. I have my new car which is super kick butt! I am just loving everything about it!! I almost have 400 KM on it already (but 3/4 of that is just from bringing it home from Regina). But 400 K and I am still over 1/2 a tank!! WHAT??? CRAZY NICE~!!

While we were in Regina, we picked up a couple other things too.. SEX AND THE CITY! (for me of course, I can't wait to sit down and watch it...but with my schedule I don't know when that will ever be!) and a Potty for Paige. She loves it, she goes and sits on it and pushes, and farts..but has yet to actually do anything on it. You can definetly tell she is interested in it. She is going to be WAY easier to potty train than Dominic, I can tell already. My goal is to have her potty trained by Christmas time.

This week has definetly not been as EXCITING as last week was. But it has went by so incredibly fast. Tomorrow Jeff and Sarah (Jeff was Jared's groomsman in our wedding) are going to come down and spend the night. I really enjoy them, so it should be a good time. Bbq some steaks, have some yummy appetizers. MMM I can hardly wait. At the craft show last weekend, I bought some "cowboy caviar" this will be a great time to use it!

I think tonight and tomorrow day require a TO-DO list. I like to have a clean house when company comes (as I'm sure most people do). But lately, it's like I clean, and work my butt off and it goes RIGHT BACK to being a pigsty. I hate it.

Have a great weekend everyone, and stay tuned for pics !

"Hombining"

We went out Combining with my dad and Uncle Lonnie. or Hombining as Dominic calls it. The kids had a blast. And afterwards we played for a bit, and I snapped some pics!! Notice the big huge disgusting grasshopper on Paige's arm in the one pic. GROSS. They were everywhere haha soo funny.

Fergie

My mom just bought a new puppy. She is a yorkshire, and she is so fricking adorable, I wanted to steal her!! The kids absolutely loved her, Dominic was so concerned about making sure she was ok. It was really cute.

I want one, however they're a little out of my price range haha.

Her name is Fergie and she is 9 wks old.

Rider Game

The Rider game against BC was brutal. The team played terribly, but they're just off their game. I have faith they will turn this ship around! My dad came with us to the game. We had a lot of fun.

AND I finally got to purchase my Rider Jersey. We were at the field almost 2 hours early, so I had plenty of time to whip into the Rider Store and buy it! I also invested in Rider seat cushions. I will definetly enjoy these at the coming up games, when it gets very cold out and our seats are FREEZING!

The Sasktel Building had these lights on in memory of Ron Lancaster(#23). It was really neat!

Doghouse

I don't think I've blogged about this yet...If I have, then I apologize. We (and by we I definetly mean NOT ME!)started building Bella a doghouse. Come winter time she will need it, especially while I am still working and she has to be outside.

Dominic was so eager to help Daddy and Uncle Jeremy. He came over to me looking heartbroken at one point. I said what's up buddy. And he says, they won't let me help. Being the overprotective mom I am, I scolded the men, and told Dominic that I didn't think they were getting the screws in far enough ...he better take his hammer and pound them in farther. So along he went and enjoyed helping for the rest of the evening!

MY WEEK ROCKS!!!

Honestly, this has been one of the greatest, happiest weeks I've had in a long time. And The WiiFit helped make it even better!!

A little bit of history ...I got a wiifit, oh like in May or June I think. I used it ALL the time. And then suddenly it irritated the nerve that my tumor was on. I had shooting pains for DAYS. So I decided that I couldn't use it again until after my surgery. And of course, then I had the healing time, and then...well then I just didn't ever use it again.....UNTIL YESTERDAY!!!!!

It said to me "It's nice to see you, it's been 85 DAYS since I've seen you"...I blushed a little..tee hee whoops, fell off that bandwagon!

And then I have to go through the getting weighed and so on and so forth.

And it proceeds to tell me that I am UNDERWEIGHT!!! WOOT WOOT, oh how I love you wii fit!! I am down to 121 lbs. That is OVER ten pounds since our wedding. I can't believe it. I have no idea where I lost it, b/c I still have work to do... but UNDERWEIGHT , damn straights...I LOVE IT!!! I know, I shouldn't be this exstatic that I am underweight. But I clearly am not underweight. I still have lots of meat on my bones, and am not a toothpick like I once was. I think I can lose another 5 or 10 lbs and still look healthy.

Then, however it told me that my wiifit age was 38 years old. EEK!! Apparently I have to work on my posture and balance.

I love doing the yoga poses and such...I'm not quite as graceful as this lady:

I actually more look like the kid surfing...but really I'm trying to do the above pose . bahaha

All in All, I may not be the best at the poses...But Frick, I am so flipping excited right now. I love this week!

Photos of Pre-K

As promised, here's my little ham on his first day of Pre-K

"Peace Out" Mom!! Man I am already dreading having to chase the girls away from him!!

HEADACHE

Well yesterday, I posted how I was feeling so much better after my 11 hours of sleep. I must have jinxed myself, b/c shortly thereafter...I got a headache (and I don't think I need to remind you, but I will....when I get a headache I KNOW it will turn into a Migraine).

Luckily I was at work, and a girl I work with always has Advil (thanks S!!). So I took 2, just before lunch. Nothing...2:00, my headache was still there, luckily hadn't progressed into a migraine (likely largely due to the fact that I did take those 2 advil, that kept it from getting worse, but didn't get rid of it). But after that, I can feel the intensity coming back..so I take another 2. 4 advil in 3 hours..YIKES. But STILL ...NOTHING. Like what the hell...I don't know why I keep getting these...but it's not making life very easy.

So at about 5, when I was at home...we had Advil Cold and Sinus..I took a couple of those, as I had 3 people coming over for haircuts and I needed to deal with this headache. FINALLY I got some relief. I could still feel it, but the intensity was gone.

I go to the DOC today , about getting referred to a Neurologist about my dang tumors. So maybe he'll be able to tell me something.

Pre-K

Dominic had his first day of Pre-K and he absolutely loved it. Last year was harder. He didn't want to stay and so on. Today, he couldn't get that back pack off soon enough.

I don't have any pics to post, but I will do that in the next day or so (as I am at work right now).

Paige liked having me to herself to . She didn't whine once , it was WONDERFUL!!! She didn't end up napping until after Pre-K b/c we decided to go for coffee. So when Dom got home she was grouchy, and ya the whining started almost immediately.

But all in all , the first day of Pre-K went really realy well.

I started getting a headache around supper time. And by now I know, when I get a headache , I need to take something for it right away or it turns into a migraine and I can't talk, or see..I just want to lay in the dark by myself.

Well as luck would have it, I took the last advil a couple days ago for a toothache. So by the time I had bathed the kids, my headache was starting to get BAD.

By the kids bedtime, it was unbearable. I put the kids to bed, MADE myself watch the end of OTH, and crawled into bed, where I stayed for the rest of the night.

But today I am feeling MUCH better. Why wouldn't I, I got almost 11 hours of sleep!

Today I am going out for lunch with a couple girls. After work, the kids and I have to decide what we're making for supper. I know, if it were up to Dominic we'd be having macaroni. But I think we'll go a little more extravagant than that! haha.

Shaking in Fear

My body is still shaking, and my nerves are just RIGHT workerd up!!!

I am at work, and this fricking HUGE Hornet starts flying around. I am deathly afraid of wasps/bees/hornets, not to mention ones that are the size of BUSSES!! And of course, there is noone in the shop today that can come kill it for me.

So while my hands are shaking, I grab a stack of paper, roll it up, and swallow my fear ...I have to kill it or it's gonna kill me!!! Like seriously this thing was HUGE , maybe not the size of a bus,but a good fricking INCH long!!!

I was so scared to hit it b/c what if I miss, it's gonna be MAAAADDDD!!! So it lands, I hit it..I didn't miss but that damn thing didn't die. So it flies to a different spot on the window. I hit it again...still alive. By this point I'm like way beyond freaking out!!! I hit it once more, and it's still buzzing but it falls behind a cabinet. I can't reach it now. Oh man, I hope it's dead and doesn't come seeking revenge.

Caught Up.

And with that I am caught up in my blogging. I am kind of caugh up in my housework. I haven't done my bathroom or floors. But who likes to clean them anyways? Not me haha.

Dominic starts Pre-K tomorrow afternoon! Paige is going to have me all to herself for 2 full hours. Only thing is, she naps at that time...

Jared started his toolpush job yesterday. He seems to be liking it.

I don't have much time left at my job. A month or two, I think, I'm not really sure. I haven't been told definetly yet. I am excited, as I am looking forward to having more time at home with the kids. Preparing Dominic for kindergarten, decorating the house for Halloween, and then for Christmas.

Next weekend the Riders play at home (for sure this time!! HAHA, no confusion on my part this time). And Carlyle also has it's annual Carnival of Crafts. I'm hoping to make it to that too. We shall see what happens.

I am cooking a roast for supper, so I better go get some potatoes started. And try and finish my housework!

More fun day out!!

The kids didn't really think it was that fun to take pics, so I started putting the camera on timer and running into the pics. Some of them worked, most of them didn't. And as time went on Dominic thought this was funny, so he wanted to press the button and run into the pics...Then of course Paige wanted to, so she cried. And ya..that didn't last very long either. Note to self, taking pics at nap time isn't exactly the best idea.

All in all I got some cute pics today. I really want a family one to put with our Christmas cards...I just don't know when we'll get the chance to do that. Hopefully soon.

Not so Little

My little Paige, is not so little any more. She is growing up, and she idolizes her older brother. Wants to do everything he does. And unlike him , she's not afraid of anything , so she tries it even if it scares the crap outta mom! She is such a doll, beautiful as ever...and LOOK AT THOSE CURLS...SO CUTE!

Typical Dominic

Dominic has this obsession with playing with his shirt. Always showing off his belly. It's cute.

Glen Ewen

Well after we got scared away from the valley, and had a bite to eat..I thought I would go find another nice place to take some pics, well it never fails that in the car Paigester is going to fall asleep and that she did. So I just kept driving the back roads. When we got to glen ewen, I thought ok we'll try this park. Wasps weren't bad at first. And then Dominic got to the top of the slide and started freaking out , so I decided it was time to go.
