Dominic turned 7 today!! I know I say this every year, but seriously, where has time gone? Due to a crazy busy month of April, he is having his friend party late this year. Can't wait!!

This picture comes from the future(as you can tell by the snow, that didn't appear until tomorrow). But I just had to share it with you. This Robin let me stand virtually right beside it and take it's photo!

Signs of Spring are all around us! While at the farm, noticed my Grandma's flower bed had things growing already. And grass turning green...oh how I love spring!

Happy Easter! The kids had fun finding the eggs the Easter Bunny hid outside. As you can see that silly Easter Bunny didn't bring baskets, so the kids used a couple baskets from my photography business...a little on the big side for an egg hunt!

We started our day off by heading to Madame Tussaud's. We had fun there posing with all the celebrities!
Tonight we headed over to the show Blue Man Group. What an amazing show! What made it even more amazing? I got called on to go on stage with them...alone...noone else. Actually, for me it was quite embarassing! They don't talk to you the whole time you're up there, so you are never sure exactly what they want you to do.
I'll lay out the one thing they had me do. The table we were sitting at was set up for dinner. They brought out an electric candle, I couldn't get it to work (it wasn't plugged in haha), so they brought out a real candle...then all stared at me. I just laughed and shrugged my shoulders, so then they got out a lighter. I showed them how it worked. They just stared at it and at me, and then pointed and the candle. So I leaned over to light the candle. Just as I was doing this.....the guy on the end gets a fire extinguisher and blows it at my hand and the candle. Well jeepers, I am not sure my arm could have swung back so quickly. Scared me half to death!!!
This picture{that I am holding} was after puke came pouring out of the vest they had put on me. I couldn't stop laughing. (Of course the puke, wasn't actual puke) They had tried to feed it to me, I refused so they sent me home with a to-go container..complete with a pretty pink bow.

We headed to Freemont St tonight (the old strip). Unfortunately I am pretty sure I had heat stroke, and thus forget my camera (I'm blaming it on that anyways)
So here's more photo's from last night:

Last night we headed over to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. It is truly something to see!
Tonight, we headed over to the Paris to go up the Eiffel Tower. Witnessing the water show at the Bellagio from way up in the "Eiffel Tower" is amazing!
I think blogger is mad at me for putting so many photo's on this post, so stay tuned for photo's of the light/water show

I was busy taking my hunter's safety course today, but Jared, the kids & my sister headed up to Kenosee for the auction! We've been needing a fridge for the longest time, so it was awesome when we were the highest bidder on this double door fridge! Only thing wrong with it, is a few dings! Minor, considering the price we paid for it!
Downfall? It wouldn't fit under our cupboards, so we had to remove them. I am doing some minor cupboard updates this summer anyways, so we weren't too heartbroken over having to do it! Notice the awesome wall paper that was behind the cupboards!!!

This photo is of my scar from surgery I had today. Not to worry, this photo was taken after it had healed substantially.
Some may ask why I chose to share this. I will tell you...I am open and honest about what goes on with my health. I know people talk, so they might as well know the truth.
Having this surgery was SO important to me. I had a tumor growing near my spine {not to worry--they aren't cancer tumors}, it just causes me a great deal of pain. So I am excited to be able to embrace this spring and summer in a little less pain!
My unoffical diagnosis is called "Neurofibromitosis " aka NF. You can read up more on it here. At this time, it isn't clear what type I have, as I suffer from benign tumors which would suggest NF2..but they don't just grow on my spine.
So now you know. Here is my latest victory wound! It is scar #7, and I proudly add it to my collection of scars, for a scar is far better than pain.

The kids and I headed out with Grandma Fergie to the park just down the street from her place. Dad was gone to the mens world curling. We had done a lot of driving in the past day {all the way to Saskatoon from Oxbow, and then back to Regina today}, so it was nice to stretch and play outside.
