Week 13- color Silver

This Picture ended up being more Green than silver.. I was trying to incorporate my engagement ring , and I thought in nature would be the best place. Kind of cheating b/c I didn't look very hard for the 'silver', but it is the most symbolic thing right now.. Only two more months til the wedding!

Dad's 50th

Ok so I am having problems, yet again, uploading pics to my blog...

but this pic pretty much says it all:
I took that pic of my Dad's "walker" that I got from the "dollar store". I put dollar store in quotes b/c it's far from haha. Tis why I love dollarama. Everything in that store IS a dollar, "dollar store" on the other hand, ya not quite. haha ok that's my rant about that.

I have some quite good pics from that night but do not feel like uploading pics for an hour.

It is very hot and muggy here today. I thought I was so lucky b/c I was driving my dad down to the airport in Minot and would be in the a/c Jeep all day.....well let's just say there were "minor" difficulties today. Not only was my dad supposed to be on YESTERDAY's flight...even though he flies overseas EVERY month on MONDAY, oh well. turns out that even if he would have been able to flight out today, the flight was SO delayed he would have missed ALL of his connecting flights and we would have been driving back anyways. So needless to say I am making another trip down to Minot tomorrow!

It is forecasted to be quite the storm tonight...whatever it is, I hope it brings some cooler weather with it because we still have yet to hook up central air, and our house could use some coolness through it!

Well we are off to try the "bow" for supper tonight!

TGIF

Well Friday is here! My parents and brother and sister are all coming here this evening. Then tonight is also my dad's 50th birthday celebration at the Bow. I am excited to embarrass him haha.

I can't believe how windy it has been here. Not quite as bad today, but yesterday was horrificly windy. I hope tomorrow is better.

Question

Let's say you have a friend. And this friend really isn't that close to you, more of an acquaintance. I mean they don't call you up and invite you places, and you really just rarely talk period. So let's say this so called 'friend' leaves her husband. Doesn't say it's for another man, but you're not stupid...Not only that, but you know of other men she has been with

If her husband asks you about her cheating, what would you say??

I'll tell you what I say, I say...You are husband/wife FIRST! You shouldn't be CHEATING!!

I personally would not lie, and will not lie. I do not condone cheating. In Oxbow it seems to be the thing to do, and everyone covers it up for everyone else.

My answer to the question is I would tell him the truth. I am firm in this answer, and if I lose a friend over it then I guess I do.

2 of the 10 commandments are as follows:
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour (no lying)
You shall not commit adultery

Both fall into play in this situation. So you tell me, in the eyes of God, who did wrong here???

Bored..

I am really bored this morning, the weather isn't very nice out at all. But I think it's supposed to get nice again tomorrow, so I guess one day of crappy weather is ok. Get a chance to catch up on some laundry.

The kids and I went out to my gramma's farm for a weiner roast last night. It was a good time, got to embarass my dad a little for his early 50th! But that's nothing compared to what he's gonna get on Friday hahaha. This one was just a few family, unfortunately my memory has been going down the gutter lately and I forgot my camera at home so I didn't get any pictures.

Events Calendar

June 8-9-10: My parents are taking the kids to Minot=weekend off for me!
June 11: I take my dad to the airport in Minot, he will be gone for another 35 days!
June 15-16-17: My cousin, Pam's wedding to Eldin in Saskatoon
June 22: Riders game in Regina against Calgary. GO GREEN AND WHITE! (preseason)
June 28: my sister Mallory's Grade 12 Grad in Indian Head.
June 29-30, July 1-2 : Camping with my siblings, no kids. A nice relaxing getaway before the wedding. Destination still unknown.
July 8: My birthday, Rider game in Regina against Calgary again!
Mid July: my stagette'S (yes there is going to be 2) and shower ..not sure on exact dates, contact my sister Amber at hawkerad@hotmail.com for more info.

August 3-4-5: Alameda 100 year celebration

August 13-17: Minot with the kids, our "kid included honeymoon", "adult only honeymoon" to take place in November, if our passports are here by then.
