One of my photography projects is to get a picture of distance...so I've been just practicing focusing on everything from near to far...

Wild Child

Paige has not lost her crazy wild hair. She has this pink headband , that normally would help tame her locks..But she insists putting it on herself, and looks more like a hippy wild-child but at least she's MY hippy wild-child!!!

Parsley

This is the first year I decided to plant a herb garden. I will keep it throughout the year by having it indoors as well.

However, I set it outside too early and Lost a couple herbs...But Parsley has stuck it out!

Friends Forever

Me and a few of my girlfriends ( I know , I know, "my girlfriends and I") all have girls very close in age!!

These two are definetly going to be trouble. I can already see phrases like " She is my best friend I love her"..and then 2 days later "we are NOT friends"..and so on and so forth..oh the drama of a girl's life!

Kids, Kids and more Kids

It's funny how, "a few friends over"...is no longer just a "few friends over"..we have all mass-reproduced and thus leading to MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF ...CHILDREN!!

I have a pond..or lack of...thanks to our lovely dogs chewing a hole in my liner!! Anyways..the kids decided it was more like bench seating!

Homemade Lemonade

On top of the shiskabobs...I also made homemade Lemonade for the first time (trip to Costco--couldn't pass up the ginormous bag of Lemons).

It was EXCELLENT!!! If anyone wants the recipe I will be happy to provide it!! Honestly, it put all other Lemonade's to shame!!

Shiskabobs!!!

For the first time ever we made Shiskabobs. They were very very nummy!! I think next time I might change my marinade a bit..but nonetheless they were SUPERB!!

Pre-K

Dominic had his Pre-K concert!! It was the cutest!!

Famous Line:

Mrs. Byers: Dominic what do you want to be when you grow up?
Dominic: Just Like My Daddy!
Mrs. Byers: and what's that?
Dominic: uhm...aawhh...uhm...I love him!

Haha too cute!! Here is a pic of his class, and pic of him with his teachers (Mrs. Byers and Mrs. Smith..and of course Paige snuck into one too!)

My little man is 5 years old..and is finished Pre-K and will be going into Kindergarten next year!! It's hard to believe!!

He has already had a visit to his school, and got to see his classroom and meet his new teacher Mrs. Wallace.

Paige-meister

Paigey is definetly growing up...and as her 3rd birthday fastly approaches I am starting to realize just how fast!!!

She has little friends, and is enjoying playdates SO much!
Her vocabulary is growing every day!
Her attitude is also growing every day!
She is a little helper around the house!

I had my very first clients!
Being as I am still a student and still learning..I haven't started doing very many photoshoots.
But I did do this one with Shylee and her man, Dustin.

We had a lot of fun and I am very happy with the way the photos turned out!
