FIVE!!!! ....FIVE?????

Yep a certain someone turned big FIVE!! today! And he is so excited. He asks me "Mom I am 5 , can I get a job now, please, please" haha too cute..

My baby boy is growing up, going to Kindergarten in the fall..it's really hard to believe!!!

Once a year, Oxbow has a Ladies Night Out. It is quite a blast..we were together working on decorations one morning at coffee.

My Sister convocated from Criminal Justice- Police Studies. She's such a smartie pants...and a dang good looking one at that!

We were in Lethbridge for the weekend for my sister's grad!! Look at the BEAUTIFUL scenery!!! This pic was taken out of the window by the hot tub!

One afternoon, while Domo was in school, we headed back out to the Dam ..I snapped a couple quick pics of my girly girl Paige in her RED jacket!

Baby Liberty!!

Honestly the cutest, smallest, most adorable Baby Girl I have met in a long time!! I had fun snapping a few pics of her and (of course) getting some much needed snuggles in. She is so precious!!

Sunroof Fun

We went to an Auction with Barret & Kandi while out in Wolseley..Dom and I got bored looking at farm machinery...so he had fun with the sunroof and I had fun with my camera!!

Bike Riding

Anyways!! Spring = BIKE RIDING ..of course DUH..what else?? besides ticks, bees, wasps, ants, misc creepy crawly's..(not that I EVER worry about any of those stupid INSECTS --or whatever they're called)..ICK ..

Dominic is BOUND and DETERMINED his training wheels will be off soon. As he says "Mom can we ride bikes, I need to practice"..haha. He is way too eager to grow up..if only he knew that growing up meant paying bills, dealing with stupid grown up drama, and working for a living!!!

Paige is slowly grasping the concept of PUSH the PEDALS..but ya mostly she wants to sit on her tricycle and have YOU push her around haha.

Another "16th" post

Simply b/c I forgot to mention this after my Winnipeg trip...

Yep...it's true!! I was a red lobster VIRGIN!! and I lost my virginity !!! I have only had lobster one other time, and I didn't really care for it. It was rubbery and I didn't like it very much...
but THEN I started eating shrimp (which I NEVER ate either)...and started LOVING it, and my tastes must have matured b/c I like lobster now. I don't LOVE it..but I LIKE it!!
And I do LOVE Red Lobster..It was NUMMY.

Just wanted you all to know that!

The time is fastly approaching...

We have SUCH a busy lifestyle right now...

This weekend we are taking our soon to be FIVE year old to "walking with the dinosaurs"


I KNOW he is going to love it. I just hope I can get some awesome photos of him and the show (seeing as cameras ARE allowed but flashes are NOT!! blah!!)

Next weekend we head off to LETHBRIDGE!!!!!!! YAY!! my sister has been taking her Criminal Justice- Police Studies course there. And she graduates next weekend. She has been working at the Port of Carway (excuse my spelling)..I really hope we have a couple extra moments, as there is a Mormon temple there..and I am interested to go see it. No, we are not Mormon, but it does interest me!

My posts lately have been all about photography and the pictures I have taken lately. I apologize if this bores you. I have been working hard at taking my photography course and love to share with all of you, and get your opinions and critiques!

May 1st weekend we head up to Dauphin MB ( Jared's hometown) for "fish enhancement". This happens once a year, and is very similar to Oxbow's "lobsterfest". Except no lobster...lots of fish and seafood, fish games (like: minnow races, cricket races, catch the sucker fish) It is a BLAST and maybe this year I will win a prize haha!!

May 9th weekend is of course Mother's day weekend. And Oxbow holds their annual "Ladies Night Out". So I will be at home, but busy of course getting it all ready with the fellow Oil Wives.

May 16th weekend we are headed up to Saskatoon..But SSSHH don't tell my gramma!! Her and my son share a birthday (April 30th)..They are twins 60 years a part. I say this b/c me and my grampa (on the other side) shared a birthday. And one of our birthday cakes said "Happy Birthday to the Twins, 46 years apart". ANYWAYS We are all heading up May long weekend to surprise her for her 65th birthday!! This will be the 2nd time this year I get up to Saskatoon!! I am on a roll (usually we're lucky to get up there once a year)

After that, summer starts..camping season starts, swimming lessons start, T-Ball is in fullswing, and before we all know it Summer will be over and Dominic will be in Pre-K...And that means my babykins Paige will be in Playschool!!!

I will make special notes of these dates but here is our family Birthday Calendar for the next few months:
April 26: Jared
April 30: Dominic & Grandma Joan
June 6: Paige
June 13: My Dad.

At least the June bdays I still have time to get gifts...Can someone please help me with ideas for the TWO April Bdays. Dom is easy...summer clothes and toys...Jared...argghh that's a different story!!

He's a Hunter

Last year Jared didn't get much oppurtunity to play with his new Bow. This year he has had AMPLE time to play with it. And the year has JUST begun! He looks forward to a season full of practicing. In fact I think I would like to get one (in my defense, I can't shoot a gun, b/c of my arm and the kick a gun gives--no matter how gentle the "kick" haha). I wonder if I could find a pink one...hmmm..

I had a great time at the hair show , a week ago! I got a lot of great ideas, and some new product too!!

I picked up this Scruples temporary hair color. The kids LOVE getting it put in their hair.

Lately Paige has been ALL about getting her nails painted. So when I headed up to Winnipeg for the hairshow last week, I picked up a bunch of nail polish. She has been SO happy!!

Easter Eggs

The kids had a blast painting eggs this year. I think the adults made more mess than they did! haha, it was a lot of fun though!
