SO SO thankful!!

A couple weeks ago, I had a minor heart attack {not literally}, minor melt down, minor whatever you must call it..When I came into my living room to find my new macro lens SMASHED! My heart just broke!!! So I bought a used 50mm macro lens {my other one was a brand new 100mm macro lens}.
It arrived today, with a UV filter on it...and that's when I made the embarassing discovery! I had put a UV filter on my 100mm lens too {can you see where this is going}. yea, it was the cheap cheap filter that was broken, not the glass on my lens! I felt so silly for forgetting it was on there, but am so thankful!

On the bright side, now I have 2 fabulous lenses to play with!

While in Saskatoon, we were able to get over to visit my cousin and her baby again. So I came better equipped and was able to snap some more photo's of her at 7 weeks old. More to come

Cousins

The kids and I headed to Saskatoon today for one of my doctor's appointments. It was also a great chance to see some family we don't see very often.

Pumpkin Fun

We had fun carving pumpkins this year. Dominic was trusted to do some of the carving all by himself. He did one pumpkin soley (sp) alone! It took mom and dad getting their hands dirty with the "guts" before the kids would even dare it. But they stepped up and had a lot of fun doing it!
