Thanksgiving.

Our Thanksgiving this year was spent at my mom and stepdad's house. It consisted of a whole lot of ROCKBAND. We had a blast.





And then , with only about 1/2 hr left to finish our turkey...the Oven calved. This is the guys trying to blowdry the moisture out of the wiring (a casserole dish was placed over the vent, resulting in the wiring getting moisture )..haha, good thing my parents have such great neighbours that finished our turkey for us!

All I want for Christmas

I have already started my Christmas list. I know it's only October, but I know what I want, so why not share? I have never been a high maintenance kind of person, and don't believe that we should spend THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS at Christmas time. Although I would LOVE to, b/c I just LOVE watching people open their gifts and seeing their reactions. But that's not what Christmas is about.

ANYWAYS...sidetracked a little there, This year is no different. My list is not a very expensive list, and b/c we are going on a trip the very beginning of January I do not expect to get it all.

First off:

With my new Jetta, I have the i-pod connector thingy mabob! Which I never had in my Jeep. I really would like to have an i-pod to have tons of music to listen to, and not have a pile of cd's all around the car! Value $139.99. The most expensive thing on my list...but I think well worth it!



The least expensive on my list. A popcorn maker. As a kid we always used to make popcorn, and melt your own butter and put it on. As long as I stray away from the butter, it's a MUCH better choice than microwave popcorn. Value $20.00




I want to be able to decorate cupcakes, and have a cool cookie press too. I will probably get myself this, as I can get it about $30 cheaper than anyone else can. Value $50-60 (everyone else's price).


Ahhhwww the breadmaker, how I love thee and thy wonderful homemade buns and bread. I have wanted one for SO long. This is pretty much the exact one I want too. Available at Costco right now!! Value $99.00



So there is my Christmas list ...under $320. Not bad ..and I would settle for the smaller I-pod which would bring my total cost of this list down by almost $90!

If someone is talking to Santa, can you please let him know?

Trouble...

Well I think part of my problem with blogging lately, is that I really like to include pics that I have taken. And right now our main computer doesn't have anti-virus updated. So thus, I either have to blog at work or on my laptop. Neither of which have my pics stored on them.

We are heading to Indian Head for Thanksgiving. Should be a good time, lots of food , lots of rockband, lots of cranium and lots of laughs. Maybe this time I will actually get some photos taken to get in my Christmas cards.

Quick Funny story..well it's not THAT funny b/c it's costly but I'm going to laugh anyways, b/c laughing is good for you!! HA HA HA! Oh right ...the story.

So yesterday, Jared was off work. We decided that I would still take the kids to daycare so that he could take my dad out chicken hunting. So I did. And that morning, Jared got all ready in his hunting clothes, backed the truck in so he could load the quad into the back. Started loading the quad...and SMASH he broke the back window of his truck.

tee hee. I'm pretty much evil for laughing right now. But come on, it's funny. Dumb butt!!! hahaha.

Now this is definetly NOT Jared's truck...but remember how I said I don't have access to my pics AND the internet right now...it's either one or the other...So I improvised and found this pic of some random's smashed out window.

Changes...

Facebook is mean to me. It has blocked me from writing notes (like I write too many! bah ya WHATEVER)..ok maybe I do...but still..

I am now going to boycot Facebook notes. And by doing so, I will be writing all my notes on here. However, I just don't feel comfortable letting everyone and there dog read my blog. So if you read my blog, and want to continue reading it...Leave a comment.

B/c this blog is going PRIVATE. I am not against strangers reading my blog, so don't be afraid to leave me a comment, I just want to be able to CONTROL who reads it.

This is me a couple months before our wedding..Trying SO hard to loose weight, to no avail..well I shouldn't say that I lost a couple pounds, but I was trying SO hard.


And here is me now, a year after our wedding. Not doing *hardly* a dang thing to try and loose weight. and TEN pounds lighter than at the time of our wedding..



I am still trying to decide where I lost the weight...I don't see it, do you?
