Sunny ..Snowy..

This photo was taken at the same time as the church pic..The sun was reflecting off the snow so remarkably..well actually it was blinding me whilst I drove..but that's besides the fact.

It was beautiful, and the pic would've been beautiful if it weren't overexposed..let me remind you, I was parked on the side of the highway, I could've got hit by a car and DIED...You need to rush in these situations!!

Teeny Weeny Church

I am so upset...This photo turned out TERRIBLE...and I am going to have to take another one...My excuse for bad photo?? : had to park on side of highway, church was on OTHER side of highway, so had to cross highway (meanwhile scared that my kids were going to hop out of the car when a car was coming), and there was TONS of snow so I couldn't pull into the church off the highway.AND THEN on top of all that , I had it on manual focus and did NOT manually focus it..ARGGHH

ANYWAYS.,..this is a teeny weeny little church between Kenosee & Whitewood. If you blink you almost miss it..It's so precious..I will have to get a better pic next time..Maybe on a day that I didn't just drive ALL the way from Saskatoon...

Uncle Jim

It just so happened that my Uncle Jim was coming to Saskatoon while we were there. We see him even LESS often than my Saskatoon relatives (as he lives in Edmonton now). The kids had a blast with him, although based on how Paige looks in the pic...you would never know!! haha

**again not the best pics...I am going to start working on my photography course again this week...I need to get it finished, so I can get a start on taking photo's professionally

Visit with Gramma

Gramma Joan was so happy to have us for the few days we were there. It isn't very often that we get the chance to make the 5 hr drive up there. I am hoping we can try making it up there more often...twice a year instead of a MAYBE once a year.

I don't have the picture of the kids with Grandpa (as he was in restbite for the week, and my grandma took that picture)

Cousins

During our trip to Saskatoon we got to have a visit with Marcel (1 1/2 yrs) and Tyson (6 mths).
They are actually MY cousins, but are younger than Paige and Dominic ...so it seems like they are the ones that are 1st cousins.

On Tuesday we took the 5 hour trip up to Saskatoon to spend the week with my Grandma Joan and Grandpa Bill.
Of course, Grandma went out and bought special treats for the kids....like these fudgesicles:

Riskan Hope

On the way to Saskatoon I knew I wanted to take a picture of this barn. I see it every time we go there (which yes, I know, isn't very often) but still it brings a smile to my face...
BUT seeing as I was the one driving, AND it was through the passenger window...All I could do was snap and hope for the best...And these are the two pics I got:
