Walking with the Dinosaurs

We totally splurged for Dominic's 5th birthday. He gets to go with mom and dad to Walking with the Dinosaurs. Tickets weren't cheap, but the memory is going to be priceless. I can't wait to see the expression on his face. Best of all camera's ARE allowed, but no flashes...so I guess we'll see how those turn out!!

April 19th we will be going to see some bigger than big dino's...but as Dominic told Gramma "don't worry they're not real"

Car sitting..

We've been on the go a lot...and these are the cute faces I see when I turn around. Most likely sick of being on the road so much.

Slacking...

So...I have been hard core slacking...Why I am finding it hard to blog lately?? Well Jared has been home for 2 wks , not working, so I find it hard to sit here and blog for hours and sacrifice my time with him.

Also I started boxercize this week. It's great, and it frickin' hurts. Yesterday I could hardly walk. It will all be worth it!

I also started our family on a "diet" but it's not a DIET persay...It's a healthy eating. Last night we had lemon pepper chicken, green beans and apples. Jared was still starving afterwards. Today we had turkey sandwiches with swiss cheese and lettuce, accompanied by some rice krispers and raspberries.

I don't like the word diet. I like to say that we are being more aware of what we eat, and HOW much we eat.

Bathroom

Well Here is the bathroom with the new paint color, and it finally has baseboard!! SAHWEET!!

New Hair

Last Saturday I got my haircut, and today I got it colored. It's pretty sexy, I love it!! I love getting my hair done, b/c I get the inspiration to "do" my hair again. That quickly fades though...and soon I am doing "nothing" with my hair. haha

She's growing up...

In just a few short months, my baby is going to be THREE!!! I know, I can hardly believe it either!!
She is growing up so fast, and has a personality ALL her own!!

Storm

Well...We are doing it...We are keeping one of Bella's puppies. Crazy? Nuts? Insane? Ya I think we may be!!

She is cute, and she is going to be my girly dog..Check out her pink collar (it has bling on it too!!)

Fun-Dip

I was so excited to find these valentine's while in Minot. They were unique and a lot of fun , well for the kids anyways!!

if i haven't drank all my sorrows away. haha.

Meanwhile, I need a cheering up...send me a msg, or give me a phone call...I really need to know that I am not as evil as some think I am..

Office Space

It is painted, the color is "olive moss", have I already posted this??? hmm... oh well..
I moved things in today, even though we still need to put up trim and border..I was sick of having everything in disarray.

I am very happy with the color, and will get busy painting the window sill this spring. And hopefully all of our closets will finally get closet doors (none of the closets had doors when we moved in to this house...WEIRD!)

My parents brought back this cute Anne of Green Gables hat from their trip to the maritimes awhile back. Paige was a newborn..I somewhere have a pic of her wearing it as a new born...

But we had some fun with it today..

First Experience with snow...

The puppies are now over 6 weeks old, and have started heading to their new homes. We still have 7 AT our house, but only 2 left to sell.

Tonight, Jared got busy and shoveled a big spot in the backyard so we could take the pups out a bit, and start house training them.

I think they were cold, but they did their business outside, which was awesome. One less stinky poo in THIS household...actually about 6 less...b/c they all did it.. haha.

Flowers

These are the flowers I received from Jared for Valentine's day..I have them set up on my table as my little valentine display...complete with a heart shaped bowl full of cinnamon hearts MMMM!!

This is the valentine's card I made for MY valentine...It was SO easy to make, and I got to fill the inside with my OWN thoughts and love!!

I wish'd I would've used a little different paper...but it still turned out good!

Olive Moss

Well the time has come...we are painting our office. I was actually inspired to pick a green color when I saw Starr's pick for her office in her new house.

We went with the Olive Moss. I am VERY happy with it...and things are coming along a lot quicker than most of our reno's have in the past. Probably b/c this is a minor reno that only requires new paint, new flooring and new baseboard.

I can't wait to set everything up!!

Party Lite

I went to a friend's house for a partylite show...and I really need to learn to get a back bone b/c
#1 my best friend sells party lite...so if I'm going to have a party, I will have it through her
#2 I don't want to have a party right now...noone ever comes to the parties, so why host one??

Well the pushy lady talked me into it...so yes..I am having a book party...that way noone has to feel like they have to come over....

but if you would be so kind to buy something, anything, that'd be SWEET!

Sick...

I could cheat, and just keep using these "explanatory" blogs as my posts for February...but I won't...I will still do my 28 posts of February. Just give me a chance. I caught up and did all my January blogs...

But we pretty much have been sick the whole month of February...and my photo inspiration...well it just is non-existant.

I just want to sleep all day. The kids are ok. Dom is over his sickness. Paige is still sick. I think I got the short end of this stick...as I seem to be sicker than anyone.

Well I am going to return to my warm spot on the couch, with a big glass of OJ, and some much needed R & R while the kids nap!!

Gift from Grandpa..

We went down to Minot Saturday night with the kids and Jared's brother and his gf.

Before we left, we had my dad come over to spend the night while we were gone (seeing as we have a total of 10 dogs in our house at the moment!). He gave the kids each $20 for our over night trip.

They each got to buy a new book at Barnes & Noble, and then got to enjoy the movie "Hotel for Dogs" at the theatre.

Cupcakes!

For Dominic's Pre-K, they are having a Valentine's party..I volunteered to make cupcakes.

I was so excited, b/c I had bought a cookie press/Icing decorator a while back, but had never gotten the chance to use it.

Everything went pretty well. I wish I would have made the icing a little thicker..but all in all not bad for my 1st try!

I'm back!!

One of my computers has returned from the "doctor"...thus blogs return!!!

I am busy tonight...but I will catch up on my January blogs, and February (eek I'm going to be at the computer for HOURS!!)

Teachers

Seeing as I just received a new stamp set from Starr...I thought I would first put it to use making a couple Valentine cards for Dominic's pre-k teachers...

haha well it's not really reno's persay...not yet anyways...

Everything moved, ready to paint. Once it is painted, new flooring goes in. Then my office gets set up!!! And hopefully a few new shelves.

We are also repainting our bathroom (I had it completely white, and have decided for a change). With that, we are FINALLY getting crown molding and baseboard put up in there. YAY!!! One of our many projects COMPLETELY finished!!

HOW??

I really really really don't know how it's possible that 2 little muscled children could get not one but TWO paint cans open and do this :




I cleaned most of it up, so it looks a lot better than when I found them!

Like really, 5 minutes of quiet children is NEVER a good thing...However I always get sucked in...I enjoy the quiet and I'm like oh man they are being so good, so quiet, I can't believe this!! WHY DO I FALL FOR THAT??? haha EVERY TIME!!

I didn't get pictures of them, I wish'd I would've b/c it was kinda cute.

But like, HOW ??? tell me HOW did they get those paint cans open???

Obviously we do too many reno's, and they see us open too many paint cans!! ahaha

Just wanted to share some thing gross...how nice ofme hey?

As you all know I have been looking after the NINE puppies our dog, Bella, had. They stink and pee and poo A LOT. My house reaks.

As if that isn't bad enough I woke up this morn to find that Bella peed AND poo'ed in my kitchen. I almost puked.

Then we had to run to estevan...and return to find that she did it AGAIN ....TWICE!!!!!!

How I did not puke I have no idea but I do know that I really hope my kids have no accidents...I don't think I can handle any more poo today.

Let's also hope therre is no more surprises when I get home this time. Thankfully bella is locked up if she does do it again.

Secret Sister

Being a part of Oil Wives, I have a "secret sister". Which is a lot of fun. I get to buy someone little gifts all year long, while someone in the group is doing the same for me.

They either KNOW that I am a part of a "coffee group" or they are a part of the coffee group...

Or maybe items that say "secret pal" on them are few and far between and that's why a mug was chose!!
